During the celebration of 13th Anniversary Programme of ASB Developers and Promoters, The chairman Mr Ln.  S Bhagiratha donated over 25 tricycles to the physically handicapped. All the members praised Sri Bhagiratha for his kind heart towards poor people and helping the poor through his social service and charitable activities.
 Our aim is to install and develop self confidence among the disabled and to remove doubt in their own capabilities. So that they can become self-employed, self-dependent, self-respected and live own normal life. This program done in 2009 with the donation of 25 tricycles. ASB Developers and Promoters continues to provide necessary needs to physically challenged members of society a way to actively participate and make a difference in their lives.


award In the occasion of 16th Anniversary function ASB Developers and Promoters, its chairman Mr Ln S Bhaghiratha has Awarded Rs 1,00,000 to Sahana kumari for her achievement in qualifying for the London Games and for creating an national record in 2012.
Sahana kumari was born in Kotekar village in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. She began taking part in different sports like kabaddi, kho kho and high jump during her school days. She graduated from Sri Gokarnanatheshwara College of Mangalore in 2002. She learned high jump from her father, who at that time was in Indian Air Force.
She is married to national level athlete B.G. Nagaraj and they have a daughter named Pavana. She is a senior clerk in South Western Railway Zone.
Sahana was the last Indian athlete to qualify for the London Games. She earned the B standard Olympic berth at the 52nd National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships held in G. M. C. Balayogi Athletic Stadium, Hyderabad, from 23 to 26 June 2012. She broke an eight year old national record of 1.91 m set by Keralite Bobby Aloysius.


During the celebration of ASB Geethanjali Programme held during Ugadi in 2011. ASB Developers and Promoters, Chairman Mr. Ln. S.Bhagiratha felicitated Malathi Krishnamurthy Holla for her Excellent Achievement. Malathi Krishnamurthy Holla   is an International Para athlete from India. She was awarded Arjuna award and Padma Shri for her achievements.
Her never-say-die attitude has been an eye-opener to many contemporary sports stars, which often refer to her as the champion of champions. For the record, Malathi Krishnamurthy Holla has so far undergone 32 surgeries. Malathi Krishnamurthy Holla works as a Manager with syndicate bank and shelters 16 children with various disabilities at Mathru Foundation-a charitable trust formed along with her friends. She focuses mainly on polio victims from rural areas, whose parents cannot afford to send their child to school or provide medical treatment.
This stunning Program was organised by “Kadamba Kannada Yuvakara Sangha” due to kannada rajyotsava wherein which the kannada film actor Mr Darshan distributed sportswear to upcoming sportspersons in behalf of Mr Ln. S. Bhagiratha, Chairman, ASB Groups.This puts a spotlight of the lives, views and experiences of young people with disabilities from around the developing world. It presents a challenge to policy makers and development agencies to pay greater attention to their needs, concerns, and potential. Their voices shaped the content and priorities expressed in this and wherever possible, direct experiences have been quoted or summarised..
